DIG Festival 2022: “Stay Gold” will also host the DIG Awards, the prizes given each year by the DIG jury to the best international news, audio and video productions selected from more than 400 submissions. From September 22 to 25, in Modena, Italy, DIG Festival will host in its program 25 documentaries and 5 podcasts that will compete in the six categories in competition. Investigative Long
The category is reserved for investigative documentaries with a minimum length of 40 minutes. Selected works use original sources and investigative techniques to bring out novel elements in relation to the subject matter.
Reportage Long
The category is reserved for video reportages with a minimum duration of 40 minutes. Selected works analyze and narrate issues of social relevance using original points of view and journalistic cuts.
Investigative Medium
The category is reserved for investigative documentaries between 15 and 40 minutes in length. Selected works use original sources and investigative techniques to bring out novel elements in relation to the subject matter.
Reportage Medium
The category is reserved for video reportages between 15 and 40 minutes in length. Selected works analyze and narrate issues of social relevance using original points of view and journalistic cuts.
Shorts
The category is reserved for investigations and video reports with a maximum duration of 15 minutes.
Audio and Podcast
The category is reserved for journalistic products in audio format (podcasts, audio dramas, radio programs) that address and narrate current issues with an investigative approach, using investigative techniques and a novel slant.
