DIG Festival 2023: Don’t Give Up hosts the DIG Awards, the prizes given each year by DIG’s international jury to the best international journalistic, audio and video productions selected from more than 400 entries. From September 21-24, in Modena, Italy, DIG Festival will welcome to its program the 25 documentaries and 6 podcasts that will compete in the six categories of competition. Find out all the finalists by category:
Investigative Long
The category is reserved to investigative documentaries with a minimum length of 40 minutes. Selected works use original sources and investigative techniques to bring out novel elements in relation to the subject matter.
Reportage Long
The category is reserved to video reportages with a minimum duration of 40 minutes. Selected works analyze and narrate issues of social relevance using original points of view and journalistic cuts.
Investigative Medium
The category is reserved to investigative documentaries between 15 and 40 minutes in length. Selected works use original sources and investigative techniques to bring out novel elements in relation to the subject matter.
Reportage Medium
The category is reserved to video reportages between 15 and 40 minutes in length. Selected works analyze and narrate issues of social relevance using original points of view and journalistic cuts.
Shorts
The category is reserved to investigations and video reports, both edited and unpublished, with a maximum duration of 15 minutes.
Audio and Podcast
The category is reserved to journalistic products in audio format (podcasts, audio dramas, radio programs) that address and narrate current issues with an investigative approach, using investigative techniques and a novel slant.
