The 2021 DIG Awards are now open for submissions
The new edition of the DIG Awards is ready to roll. DIG’s international competition will award again the best investigative video and audio projects and will fund one video project still in its pre-production phase.
The 2021 DIG Awards will be assigned during the seventh edition of DIG Festival, taking place in Modena (Italy) from September 31th to October 3rd. Shortlisted projects will be evaluated by DIG’s international jury, composed by international prominent journalists, producers and broadcasters.
Also in 2021, DIG is opening the call for submission for a variety of Awards categories. For video projects, these are based on the nature and length of the submitted work. Categories are: “Investigative Long”, “Invertigave Medium”, “Reportage Long”, “Reportage Medium” e “Shorts”.
Audio projects such as podcasts and radio investigations can instead be submitted in the “Audio” category.
You can submit your project to all these categories until June 1st 2021.
“DIG Pitch”, instead, is the category made available to video projects in pre-production stage or still on paper.
For this category, DIG offers a 15.000 euros prize to be assigned to one winning project. In this case, the call is open until July 15th 2021.
All information and regulations about how to participate in DIG Awards 2021 are available in the open call, here. In the same document you can access all the forms for submitting your applications.
