Sergei Loznitsa will give DIG Festival 2022 a masterclass on cinema, archives and propaganda in collaboration with DHIALOGUE on Friday, September 23th at 6pm at the Fondazione Collegio San Carlo theater.

Synopsis: “Babi Yar. Context”

September 1941. Within three days Nazi troops exterminated 30,000 Jews on the outskirts of Kiev. Relying only on archival images, Loznitsa succeeds in shedding light on a historical event that Europe has tried for too long to ignore and forget.
