Awarding Ceremony “DIG Awards 2022: Stay Gold”
The year’s best films and podcasts compete, in a ceremony full of surprises
With Valerio Bassan, Silvia Boccardi
24 September 2022 19:00 - 21:00
Since its inception, DIG Festival has been awarding the best documentaries and podcasts of investigative journalism. The film competition has been able to establish itself over the years as an international benchmark, rewarding and enhancing the work of freelancers as well as major international broadcasters such as Guardian, BBC, Al Jazeera, Le Monde and beyond.
During the awards evening, which will be held in the spectacular setting of Chiesa di San Carl, the jury will award the prestigious DIG Awards, honoring outstanding journalistic works. The finalist authors, who are present in the hall, will take the stage to accept the award.
During the ceremony, hosted by Valerio Bassan (DIG) and Silvia Boccardi (Will) with the participation of several surprise guests, the winners of the competition categories chosen by our international jury will be announced: Investigative, Reportage, Shorts, Audio and Pitch.
The evening will be introduced by a tribute to Matteo Scanni, the founder and president of DIG, who passed away at 51 earlier this year, and to whom this edition of the festival is dedicated. Authorities from the City of Modena and the Emilia-Romagna Region will also attend the ceremony.
