Synopsis: “The Ambassador”
Following the North Korea adventure of The Red Chapel, Mads Brügger makes a first-person investigation into the secretive and corrupt world of diplomacy in Africa. The Danish filmmaker dons the role of a Liberian ambassador to the Central African Republic and is credited with the local elites.
Under the guise of starting a match factory, he actually wants to demonstrate how easy (but at the same time risky) it is for diplomats to get their hands on a batch of “blood diamonds.”
