The work of the journalist: values, ethics, contracts, rights protection and welfare

DESCRIPTION
On the occasion of its 120th anniversary (1905–2025), the Emilia-Romagna Journalists’ Association is launching a cycle of meetings across the region’s provinces to reaffirm and share with new generations of journalists the role of the union, the Order of Journalists, and the professional institutions of the category. The series, entitled “The work of the journalist: values, ethics, contracts, rights protection and welfare,” will take place in 2025 in Ferrara, Forlì, Modena, Parma, and Bologna. The course aims to familiarize participants with the new code of ethics of the Order, the services offered by the union and the protections available to members; to deepen understanding of the benefits provided by Inpgi and Casagit; and to highlight the opportunities of joining the complementary pension fund for journalists.
