DIG Festival 2025: SCIOPERO! / STACHKA! Screening and live performance

Jacopo Battaglia (drums and electronics), Luca Cavina (bass), Giuseppe Franchellucci (cello), Ramon Moro (trumpet), Stefano Pilia (electric guitar and electronics), and Paolo Spaccamonti (electric guitar) are considered among the finest Italian musicians on the international scene and have been performing electro-acoustic soundtracks for silent films for years.

This ensemble will be the special guest on the final night of DIG Festival 2025: Targets at the Church of San Carlo, where they will bring new life to SCIOPERO!, the first feature film by Sergej Michajlovič Ėjzenštejn, a landmark of Soviet cinema from a century ago.

A production curated by the Cineteca di Bologna for the Il Cinema Ritrovato 2025 festival, performed by the artists on a specially created score in collaboration with Laura Agnusdei.
