In 2022, the United States Supreme Court, dominated by ultra-conservative religious justices, stripped away a fundamental right: abortion, secured half a century earlier. Since then, sixteen states have restricted or banned the procedure; nine of them even in cases of rape and incest. And yet, data shows that most Americans believe abortion is a right worth defending. Where does resistance begin, and where does it end, in states where Christian fundamentalists deny women control over their own bodies? Filmed on the edge of the Bible Belt, «War on Women» follows the unwavering commitment of doctors, lawyers, and activists determined to safeguard abortion access for all women.
