Even though we witness the horror of the siege in Gaza every day via social media, it is difficult to fully comprehend the extent of what happened in the aftermath of the Hamas attack on Israeli civilians on 7 October 2023. 'Kill Zone: Inside Gaza' shows us this from the perspective of those who experienced it. This documentary by Vanessa Bowles, produced by Basement Films, is a detailed account of the Israeli military assault on Gaza as seen through the eyes of children, journalists and doctors. It was shot by twelve Palestinian filmmakers and journalists who live the conflict every day, losing friends, family and colleagues, and who nevertheless continued to risk their lives by filming for over two hundred days. A powerful documentary that takes us inside Gaza and forces us to confront the loss and suffering of its people.
