Who exposes the war crimes committed by Israeli soldiers in Gaza? All too often, the soldiers themselves. That’s what Al Jazeera’s investigative team uncovered: by analyzing thousands of photos, videos, and social media posts shared by IDF troops, they gathered irrefutable evidence of multiple violations of international law, cold-blooded killings, the systematic demolition of entire neighborhoods, looting, and destruction. Gaza also points to the complicity of Western governments and amplifies the voices of journalists, human rights activists, and residents who bear witness to the atrocities committed in the Strip and across other Palestinian territories. As Palestinian writer Susan Abulhawa declares in the film, “this is the first live-streamed genocide in history.”
