«Away Days. Stories from underground

«Away Days» is a new documentary series dedicated to telling the story of what happens on the fringes of society, in underground subcultures and where the official journalistic narrative doesn't go. “Unfiltered independent journalism”, as series creators Jake Hanrahan and Jonny Pickup put it. To begin with, they went to film extreme car racing in Japan, life in a gang-controlled favela in Brazil and the rise of “no rules” underground fighting in Europe. How do you tell these stories that you would hardly see in prime time? The first episode of the series will be screened during the event.
