The countdown to DIG Festival 2023We will soon begin to unveil the first names and guests of the ninth edition.
In the meantime, we organised a small event in Milan, to meet again and get to know each other better: Sunday 9 July at the New Armenia in Milan there will be for Road to DIG, a DIG-branded evening between cinema and journalism.
From 7.30 p.m., DIG board members Francesca Coin, Valerio Bassan and Alberto Nerazzini will talk about the work of the association and the 2023 edition of the festival; from 9 p.m., space will be given to «Erasmus in Gaza», a beautiful film winner of the DIG Awards 2023 as Best Reportage Long.
They will be present Chiara Avesani and Matteo Delbò, authors and directors of the documentary.

Erasmus in Gaza, the story
The documentary tells a universal story of training, friendship, courage and love of a millennial who just wants to chase his future.
The protagonist is Riccardo, 24, a medical student at the University of Siena, and first student in the world to participate in the European “Erasmus” university exchange programme in the Gaza Strip.
Entering Gaza, however, is not easy, and when armed conflict flares up again, Riccardo is forced to make difficult choices, for himself and for the people around him.
But the confrontation and presence of his new friends and colleagues will be the element of strength and courage that will enable him to overcoming fears and navigating professional and human pitfalls, realising, beyond all expectations, his dream of becoming a surgeon.
