DIG Festival 2024 - «J'accuse» is not only DIG Talks, workshop and cinema. At #DIG2024, there will also be activities “off”, dedicated to the arts with two exclusive concerts and three exhibitions.
As for the music, it starts Friday 20 September at 21 at Baroque Church of St Charles, in the heart of Modena. Two of the most appreciated bands of the Italian underground will perform on stage. James Jonathan Clancy, a Canadian artist “adopted” by Bologna, a leading name on the Italian independent scene of the last twenty years who, after seven years of absence, returned in 2024 with his first solo album, Wasted, his most intimate and critically acclaimed project. Opening the live show will be the eclectic sound of Bono/Burattinithe duo composed of Bologna-based artists Francesca Bono, voice and musician of the indie rock group Ofeliadorme, and Vittoria Burattini, percussionist and drummer of Massimo Volume.

On Sunday 22 September at 9 p.m., instead, on the stage of the beautiful Church of San Carlo, will be the Texan singer-songwriter Micah P. Hinson, a cult name in the folk and alternative country-rock scene across the Atlantic, to fill with the sacredness of his music a venue unique. Micah P. Hinson's latest album, I Lie To You, released in December 2022 by Ponderosa Music Records, is the result of five days and five nights of recording in a bare-bones room in Irpinia and a crystal-polishing production job by Alessandro Asso Stefana (Pj Harvey, Mike Patton, Vinicio Capossela). Backing them up are Raffaele Tiseo's strings, Zeno De Rossi's drums and Greg Cohen's double bass.
