A freelance journalist, she graduated in Sociology from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and is a Senior Researcher at the Istituto di Ricerche Internazionali Archivio Disarmo-IRIAD. She has been working since 2005 on issues related to the geopolitics of conflicts, particularly in the area of the Asian subcontinent. She has collaborated with Caffè Geopolitico and Fondazione Pangea, dealing specifically with the situation of women in Afghanistan, as well as with Unicef Italy in various advocacy activities. Since 2019, in the role of International Relations Manager, she has overseen the Stop Killer Robots campaign, as well as relations with the European Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Consortium. She is the author of more than two hundred and fifty articles on topics such as human rights, the situation of women and children in conflict areas, and weapons of mass destruction. She lives and works in Rome.
