Carola Frediani has written about hacking, privacy, surveillance, and cybercrime for various Italian and international outlets. She later began working in cybersecurity within international organizations. She was part of the Global Security team at the Amnesty International Secretariat. She currently works in the infosec team at Human Rights Watch. She writes the free newsletter Guerre di Rete, which analyzes news and stories on cybersecurity, surveillance, and digital rights. The newsletter has since evolved into an independent information project, the website Guerredirete.it, created together with the association CyberSaiyan.
