For Rai3 he has worked both in investigative journalism programmes, such as Report, and in reportage programmes such as Presa Diretta or Fattore Umano. As a freelancer she collaborated with Al Jazeera America in the foreign policy programme “Compass” and in “America Tonight. For Sky News she worked as a correspondent from Iraq in the areas of Mosul and Shingal. In 2019, she won the World Press Photo in the Short Digital Storytelling category with “Ghadeer” - a short documentary on the reconstruction efforts of Iraqi civil society after the war. For Rai documentaries he signed the direction of “Roma” and the Biopic on Fabiola Giannotti director of CERN in Geneva. He is co-director with Matteo Delbò of two feature-length documentaries: “Erasmus in Gaza”, co-produced with Al Jazeera and the film “Don't Come Back”, a Rai-Arte co-production. Both films are winners of numerous national and international awards including the Ninfa d'Oro at the Monte Carlo Festival, the DIG Award, the Primed International Festival of Mediterranean Documentary and the Prix Europa, European broadcasting Oscar.
