Chiara Spallino is a journalist and environmental communicator. As a journalist, she writes about water, agriculture, biodiversity, European policies, transparency. She is part of the editorial staff of Agenda17, webmagazine of the Laboratory in Design of Science of the University of Ferrara. As a communicator, she deals with social strategies and advocacy for Lipu - BirdLife Italia and coordinates the scientific newsletter Birds etc., aimed at policy-makers, experts and the press. She graduated in history of moral philosophy at the State University of Milan with a thesis on the intrinsic value of biodiversity.
