Gabriel is an investigative journalist specialising in investigations of surveillance and algorithmic accountability. He started working with Lighthouse Reports in 2021, where he conducted 'Suspicion Machines', a two-year investigation into the use of AI in European welfare systems. His work has appeared in WIRED, The Guardian, Der Spiegel and Motherboard, among others.
