Gabriella Giandelli is an illustrator and cartoonist from Milan. A graduate of the Istituto di Arte, Scuola di Fumetto and later in directing at the Centro Civico di Cinematografia in Milan, she began publishing her first comic stories in the 1980s in Italian magazines-Frigidaire, Alter Alter, Nova Express and then went on to author graphic novels that were translated and published in Europe and the United States. As an illustrator, her collaborations with Italian and international newspapers and publishing houses are numerous: the children’s character Milo for France5 and Rai3, for which she is art director; Il Manifesto, La Repubblica, Le Monde, and Liberation; the weekly magazine Internazionale; and the publishing houses Seuil, Actes-Sud, Einaudi, Minimum Fax, and Mondadori. He recently published the book Australia for Louis Vuitton Editions. His work has been exhibited in numerous national and international galleries and museums.
