Janek Gorczyca was born in 1962 in a small town near Stalowa Wola in south-eastern Poland. He has lived in Italy since the 1990s, in Rome, without ever having had a fixed abode. He is the author of 'Storia di mia vita' (Sellerio, 2024): a work written directly in Italian with a language that is overwhelming, cruel, unique.
