Born in Buenos Aires. Registered economist with a Masters in Human Rights and Conflict Management. 14 years’ experience in the humanitarian sector working as project manager and country director with Médecins sans Frontières (MSF) mostly in acute emergency phases of armed conflicts. Extensive knowledge on migration contexts and strong expertise in Search and Rescue (SAR) activities where he has worked since 2015. Currently MSF responsible for SAR operations in the Central Mediterranean.
