Marco Maisano is an Italian journalist and screenwriter. After graduating, he started working as a correspondant for the daily newspaper Il Giornale. In the same year, he became correspondent for the programme Le Iene, where he debuted with a report in which he interviewed three ISIS terrorists detained inside a prison in Iraq. He then did reports in Afghanistan, Libya, Morocco, Syria, the Philippines, Tunisia, Israel and Palestine. In 2017, he joined Rai 2 as a correspondent for the programme “Nemo – Nessuno Escluso”. In 2022, he wrote the podcast “The Italian Job” and in the same year produced another investigative podcast on the Unabomber case. Thanks to his work, the Trieste Magistracy announced the reopening of the investigation on 22 November 2022.
