Maria Chiara Rioli

Maria Chiara Rioli (1984) is a researcher in contemporary history at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. After working in Palestine/Israel and France, she was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Fellow at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice and Fordhama New York. In her research he deals with the history of Palestine in modern and contemporary times, mobility in the Mediterranean, archives, public and digital history. She coordinates European projects dedicated to Jerusalem (OPEN JERUSALEM) and contemporary migration (ITHACA). She has recently published: L’archivio Mediterraneo. Documentare le migrazioni contemporanee (Roma: Carocci, 2021)
