Maria Chiara Rioli (1984) is a researcher in contemporary history at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. After working in Palestine/Israel and France, she was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Fellow at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice and Fordhama University in New York. Her research focuses on the history of Palestine in modern and contemporary times, mobility in the Mediterranean, archives, public and digital history. He is in the coordination of European projects dedicated to Jerusalem (OPEN JERUSALEM) and contemporary migration (ITHACA). He has recently published:  The Mediterranean Archive.
