Journalist, essayist, publishing consultant and translator, writes about theater, film, art, culture and society. Raccontare John Berger (2014); Necrologhi. Pamphlet sull’arte di consumare (2015); and co-author of Nata due volte (1995).
She has designed and edited several books including: Off Screen: Women and Film in Italy (1988); Immagini allo schermo: La spettatrice e il cinema (1991); Elogio del margine: Razza, sesso e mercato culturale (1998 e 2020); Il cinico non è adatto a questo mestiere: Conversazioni sul buon giornalismo (2000); Modi di vedere (2004); Dieci in paura (2010); La speranza, nel frattempo. Una conversazione tra Arundhati Roy, John Berger e Maria Nadotti (2010); Riga 32 – John Berger (2012) e, in collaborazione con John Berger e Selçuk Demirel, What Time Is It? (2018). Curator and Italian translator of the works of John Berger, in 2021 she dedicated to him the podcast “Per John B.”.
She is the author of two short documentary films: Elogio della costanza (2006) and Sotto tregua Gaza (2009).
