Matthew Caruana Galizia


Matthew Caruana Galizia is a journalist and software engineer. He has worked at the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) on six major investigations, “Offshore Leaks,” “Swiss Leaks,” “Luxembourg Leaks,” “Fatal Extraction,” “Panama Papers,” and “Paradise Papers.” ICIJ and its partners won the Pulitzer Prize in 2017. Matthew’s mother Daphne was murdered in Malta in 2017, and Matthew left the organization to create the Daphne Caruana Galizia Foundation, dedicated to obtaining justice for his mother.
