Robert Morin

Director and Screenwriter

Robert Morin is a director, screenwriter, actor and cinematographer from Québec. In 1977, together with some friends, Robert Morin founded Coop Vidéo. Morin came to prominence in 1992 with the crime film Requiem pour un beau sans-coeur. He has been able to rely on the talents of committed actors such as Gildor Roy and Brigitte Paquette to tackle his experimental and uncompromising narrative approach. He is one of the founders of PRIM vidéo, created after the dissolution of the Montreal-based Véhicule Art center for artists.
