Stefano Ascari took his first steps in the world of comics in the Modenese magazine Casablanca and in Massimo Bonfatti's studio where he worked on various projects related to the character of Cattivik. Creative director since 2006 of the communication agency Intersezione and lecturer at the Degree Course in Industrial Product Design in Bologna since 2016, he has published several graphic novels in Italy and abroad (Edizioni BD, Aurea Editoriale, Star Comics, Kleiner Flug, Editions Delcourt, Dark Horse Publishing). He edited the series "Mytico!" for RCS - Corriere della Sera and the series "Lirica a strisce" for the Fondazione Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti di Modena. His latest titles published in 2021 are "Il segreto di Sorbara" with Dario Grillotti and "Il tempo? Siamo noi!" with Evelyn Daviddi for Franco Cosimo Panini Editore, "Théodora - la reine courtisane" with Andrea Riccadonna for Editions Delcourt and the series "Le stagioni della Resistenza" with Roberto Baldazzini for Edizioni Fordis.
