It’s a wrap! DIG: The Lockdown Tapes has now ended. Thanks to all the viewers and the authors who made this possible. Take care, DIG

It is in dark times that good journalism can make the difference and transform societies into active communities. Committed reporting sheds light on the shadowy, the unjust, the unrighteous. And keeps informing, relentlessly.

This is why we are proud to present The Lockdown Tapes: a selection of the best documentaries hosted at the DIG Festival over the past five years. From our archive, we’ve picked the cream of the crop: a handful of hidden gems that expose violence, corruption, inequalities and denounce abuses of power.

The Lockdown Tapes is the way we intend to extend our mission in defense of investigative journalism. All titles in this playlist will be available for free for two weeks, until May 3rd, 2020. A big heartfelt ‘thank you’ goes to all the authors and broadcasters for making this project possible.

If you want to submit your investigative work to the 2020 DIG Awards, please note that there’s time until May 31 to apply to the competition. We look forward to seeing all of you in Modena, Italy, where the DIG Festival 2020 will take place October 8 to 11, 2020.

Enjoy the movies,
